Local Home Building Company Hosts Family Event for Miracle Home During 2013 Parade of Homes

Raleigh, NC, September 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Terramor Homes, a local premier home building company in the Triangle, has announced that it will host a “Family Fun Day” during the 48th annual Wake County Parade of Homes on Saturday, Oct. 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at the 2014 Duke Children’s Hospital Miracle Home, located at 744 Magalloway Drive in the Cameron Pond community. Parade of Homes attendees, community members, family and friends are invited to join in a day of fun activities and good food to celebrate the completion of the Miracle Home, the largest annual charity project benefitting the Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center.

After being chosen as the selected builder for the 2014 Miracle Home, Terramor associates unveiled plans for the home and their pledge to raise $120,000 live on air during the 2013 MIX 101.5 Radiothon in February. The Miracle Home is a part of the Terramor “A Touch of Hope Program,” which was created to highlight service projects and organizations. All revenue generated from the sale of the Miracle Home will go directly toward the Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center. In the past 19 years, fundraisers from Miracle Homes have raised more than $15 million for the hospital.

On-air personalities, from the WRAL MIX Morning Show, Mike Chase and Lynda Loveland will be onsite that day with a live radio remote.

Attendees can enjoy tours of the Miracle Home and meet the various vendors who donated their time and resources to help build the Miracle Home this year.

The kids will have a blast enjoying various games and activities including: a bounce house, face painting, pumpkin decorating and fun giveaways. Plus, Gigi’s Cupcakes of Brier Creek will be onsite offering samples of cupcakes.

Custom Home Exteriors will serve as the event sponsor and will be onsite that day offering giveaways and more. The organization has worked directly with Terramor Homes throughout the Miracle Home campaign, including donation of supplies and event sponsorship.
