Parade of Homes attendees, community members, family and friends are invited to join in a day of fun activities and good food to celebrate the completion of the Miracle Home, the largest annual charity project benefitting the Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center.

The Miracle Home is a part of the Terramor “A Touch of Hope Program,” which was created to highlight service projects and organizations. All revenue generated from the sale of the Miracle Home will go directly toward the Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center. In the past 19 years, fundraisers from Miracle Homes have raised more than $15 million for the hospital.
On-air personalities, from the WRAL MIX Morning Show, Mike Chase and Lynda Loveland will be onsite that day with a live radio remote.
Attendees can enjoy tours of the Miracle Home and meet the various vendors who donated their time and resources to help build the Miracle Home this year.
The kids will have a blast enjoying various games and activities including: a bounce house, face painting, pumpkin decorating and fun giveaways. Plus, Gigi’s Cupcakes of Brier Creek will be onsite offering samples of cupcakes.
Custom Home Exteriors will serve as the event sponsor and will be onsite that day offering giveaways and more. The organization has worked directly with Terramor Homes throughout the Miracle Home campaign, including donation of supplies and event sponsorship.
“We are excited to take part in this year’s Parade of Homes,” said Michelle Simms, Terramor Homes’ chief operating officer. “The Family Fun Day will give the community the chance to see the completed Miracle Home and learn how it is helping in the effort to save lives, while enjoying a nice day with activities, food and friends.”
“Team CHE has been touched by the many people who have given their time, money and interest to making this year’s Miracle Home charity project a major success,” said Stephen Scoggins, Custom Homes Exteriors president and owner. “Terramor Homes has shown a real passion for supporting the Triangle community through their selfless work on this project.”
