Cal Coast Academy Student Commended in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program

Cal Coast Academy senior Justin Greenhaus received honorable recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Program for his exemplary performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in 2012.

Del Mar, CA, September 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Principal, Ms. Jan Dunning, of Cal Coast Academy announced today that senior student Justin Greenhaus has been named a Commended Student in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented by Ms. Dunning to this scholastically talented student.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2014 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2014 competition by taking the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
