William Peace University Names Kiara F. Allison Area Coordinator of Residence Life and Housing

Four-Year Baccalaureate University Welcomes Allison to Oversee Three On-Campus Residence Halls.

Raleigh, NC, October 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- William Peace University, a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that Kiara F. Allison has been named area coordinator of residence life and housing. In her position, Allison will oversee the operations of Bingham, Finley and Main residence halls on campus, which includes managing the resident advisors, reviewing safety and security measures on the properties, and facilitating an inclusive community environment for all students living in the buildings. Additionally, Allison will serve on various university committees, assist with housing assignments and work with other student services on campus as needed.

Allison earned a bachelor’s degree in government and political affairs with a minor in biology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in higher education administration with a focus on student engagement from The Pennsylvania State University at University Park. This summer, she interned at the University of Utah at Salt Lake City in housing and residential education. During Allison’s graduate program, her assistantship was in union and student activities. She is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, as well as Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

A native of Philadelphia, Allison resides in Raleigh.
