Time Warner Cable Buffalo Partners with Studio Arena Theater in 300 Thousand Sponsorship Over Three Years
Time Warner Cable announces three year partnership with Studio Arena valued at $300,000 in cash and in-kind. Time Warner Cable will be the sponsor of the Opening Night Series and has created the Time Warner Cable Connection in the theater lobby to entertain and educate patrons.
“Time Warner Cable is excited to be joining into a partnership with Studio Arena as it enters into this new era that promises to initiate a rebirth of great theater in Western New York. Kathleen Gaffney’s enthusiasm for the season is contagious and we are thrilled to be a part of it,” stated Gordon Harp, Buffalo Division President, Time Warner Cable. “Over the next three years, Time Warner Cable is committing more than $327,650 as our show of support for cultural life in our community but most importantly our recognition of the role that Studio Arena plays in bringing joy to the region.”
Opening Nights will now be sponsored by Time Warner Cable. All Time Warner Cable Opening Night Series patrons will be invited to a party with the cast, crew and complimentary refreshments. Another major highlight of the new partnership includes the Time Warner Cable Connection on the left hand wall in the main lobby that allows patrons to see important information regarding present and upcoming productions on two flat screen televisions. Time Warner Cable has provided state of the art technology to increase access to the theater and its actors. Media are invited to attend the unveiling of the Time Warner Cable Connection on Friday, September 14 at 8 p.m.
“We are very grateful for Time Warner Cable’s generosity,” said Kathleen Gaffney, CEO & Artistic Director at Studio Arena. “During a time when many cultural organizations are struggling financially, support from companies like Time Warner Cable is crucial to our success. We are looking forward to working with them over the next three years.”
