Omaha Author Releases New Book of Urban Fiction and ‘Floetry’

Omaha author and playwright Bobby Brown recently released The Message, a collection of urban short fiction and “floetry” (hip-hop influenced poetry), published by Amanuent Press, an imprint of Infusionmedia Publishing Inc.

Lincoln, NE, September 13, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Omaha author and playwright Bobby Brown recently released The Message, a collection of urban short fiction and “floetry” (hip-hop influenced poetry), published by Amanuent Press.

Brown’s work is heavily influenced by his life experiences and personal philosophy, providing an occasionally grim and gritty portrayal of racism, drug abuse, religion, and relationships between men and women. But his sense of humor remains in several of the pieces, adding a light touch to the otherwise serious, underlying meaning of his writings.

Books are available from the author (e-mail tatiyana2007@yahoo.com
or visit www.bobbybrowntvsite.com) and at various bookstores in Omaha, as well as through national distributors including Ingram, Baker & Taylor and Amazon.
