About Heidi Baker
Heidi’s greatest passion is to live in the manifest presence of God and to carry His glory, presence and love to a lost and dying world. She longs to see others lay their lives down for the sake of the gospel and is calling for a passionate tribe of believer’s who will pour out their lives for loves sake.
Rolland and Heidi Baker founded Iris Global in 1980. They spent the first six years of their ministry in Asia and in 1995 were called to go to the poorest country in the world, Mozambique. They faced the extreme test of the Gospel and responded by pouring out their lives among abandoned street children. The Holy Spirit moved miraculously and revival began to spread to adults, pastors, churches and remote villages all across Mozambique’s ten provinces. Heidi is now "Mama Heidi" to thousands as revival continues to spread throughout Mozambique and to different parts of the world through her ministry.
Heidi holds a Bachelors degree, a Masters of Arts degree in Missiology from Vanguard University of Southern California and a PhD in Systematic Theology from Kings College, University of London. Living in Pemba, Mozambique, Heidi has authored several books and travels throughout the world preaching the message of the gospel.
