The Business Bank of St. Louis Raises $10,000 for Charity

Bank assists Big Brothers Big Sisters with its annual fundraiser.

St. Louis, MO, October 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Business Bank of St. Louis recently raised $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) at its “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” event. This is the second year that the bank participated in the organization’s fundraiser, which BBBS has held for nearly 30 years.

The bank’s staff, board of directors and associate board joined in to raise money for BBBS’ mentor/child program, which costs $1,000 annually per matched relationship. This year’s theme was “Plaid,” and prizes were awarded to the bank’s best dressed team. The event took place at Moolah Bowl located at 3821 Lindell Blvd. in St. Louis City.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters is a wonderful organization, and we enjoyed being a part of their annual fundraiser,” said Larry Kirby, CEO. “Our entire bank really got into the spirit of the event and raised a lot of money for a very worthwhile cause.”
