Austin, TX, October 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Today, Austin indie rock band The Villas announced the release of a new music video for their new single, "Life Goes On." The video will be available on YouTube (http://youtu.be/A8vHHg6TDAM), as well as other video distribution venues such as Muzu.tv.

The video was produced in Austin, Texas and shot by Greenless Studios. According to the band, the theme of the video was intentionally Austin-centric.

"We sort of wanted to capture a lot of what Austin can be," says singer/guitarist Jonathan Berry. "Keep Austin Weird had been commandeered by everyone by now. But there are parts around Austin, especially around the Central part of the city around the school, where you can find yourself conversing with some truly unique but beautifully articulate people. So this video is kind of a celebration of the weird- a trippy love letter to Austin."

Since 2011, The Villas have produced three singles and one EP. Their newest single is entitled "Life Goes On," b/w "Never Had A Morning." It is currently available on Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Last.fm - as well as on the band's website thevillasmusic.com. You can currently find them performing in and around Austin, Texas.
