Cheer Channel Debuts "Cheer Up" Lifestyle Show for Cheer Parents

New CCI original program expands audience base and show slate.

Cheer Up is hosted by Chrishelle Ebner, author and creator of the Cheer Mama Drama blog and website. The series will have its season premiere on October 14, 2013 and will continue with bi-weekly episodes released on Mondays. The host of Cheer Up, Chrishelle Ebner, is a cheer mom herself with two daughters and a son cheering for Augusta Cheer Academy in Evans, Georgia. Ebner started her popular blog, Cheer Mama Drama as a creative outlet for her busy life as a cheer parent. "I've always wanted a broader platform to discuss issues that are important to cheer moms and dads, and I am very excited to become a part of the Cheer Channel Network," said Ebner.

Cheer Up will offer moms and dads of cheerleaders tips and advice and answer questions on how to survive the busy and often stressful cheer season. The series will also feature interviews with parents, coaches, and gym owners, and subjects will range from money saving tips, travel advice, parent-coach relationships, and much more. "Cheer Channel's mandate is to provide the spirit industry with relevant and interesting news and entertainment, and having Chrishelle host Cheer Up does just that.
