Away from the Office But Need to Take Important Calls? Midaire LLC Announces AirePocket - an Intelligent Telephony Application That Delivers Calls with a Difference.

Midaire LLC has announced the availability of its patented cloud telephony application AirePocket. AirePocket allows a remote user to "pull" a call that is active back at the office to their smart phone. The application does this with virtually no capital expense to the user, gives the user a choice of taking a call, and delivers the call on the "voice-side" of the mobile phone.

Atlanta, GA, October 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- In April, 2013, Midaire LLC filed a patent on its “Lines on Mobile” (of “LoM”) application. LoM enables the business’ telephone lines to actually appear on a remote worker’s smart phone, allowing them to take any call that is active back at the office. Midaire has branded its LoM capability as AirePocket™ and the application is immediately available on Android-based smart phones.

Dubbed “the impossible app,” AirePocket handles telephone calls in a totally unique, intelligent, and accommodating way. The difference between AirePocket and either smart phone-based SIP clients or find-me-follow-me applications are glaringly apparent.

1. With AirePocket, no expensive capital equipment is needed to perform its LoM magic. Call transfer is performed solely via the AirePocket software application communicating with the cloud-residing telephone call.
2. Importantly, an AirePocket user chooses to take a call by actually pulling the call to their device, taking the call when and if it is convenient to do so. Quick, rude interruptions of meetings are eliminated, as is being forced to take a call at very inopportune times. In contrast, other applications users have to endure, and possibly be interrupted by, the ringing of the incoming call.
3. Finally, AirePocket completes the call on the "voice-side" of the smart phone, which means better call quality and coverage. Other applications use "data-side" call connection making the call an IP telephone call. This means call quality is deficient and the user is at the vagary of the cell service provider’s data coverage.

“AirePocket gives a user control – of their calls, of their time, of their life,” stated Midaire CEO Michael LeBrun. “It is our first step in allowing the mobile worker to have real flexibility in communication.” LeBrun also trumpeted the cost effectiveness of AirePocket. “Not only does AirePocket do more, it does so for less.”

Midaire plans to release AirePocket for iOS at the end of the 4th Quarter and will upgrade the application with other call control capabilities.
