Rocky Top Hospitality Celebrates Twisted Fork 10 Year Anniversary with Reinvented Menu and Dining Concept

Local Restaurant Company Reopens Longstanding North Raleigh Restaurant, Celebrates a Decade of Deliciousness with a New Focus on Fresh and Fun.

Raleigh, NC, October 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality, has announced the reopening of one of the company’s long-standing restaurants, Twisted Fork, located in Raleigh’s Triangle Towne Center. In celebration of Twisted Fork’s 10 year anniversary, the restaurant will debut a reinvented menu, which will focus on integrating “fresh” and “fun” into local dining. Twisted Fork, which is set to close its doors on Sunday, Oct. 13, will reopen to the public on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Having launched more than nine restaurant concepts around the area since 1998, Rocky Top Hospitality recreated the Twisted Fork menu with a fun spin on America’s favorite foods – burgers, wings, tacos and fresh-baked goods –taking diners on a mouth-watering culinary journey with locally-sourced ingredients. The new Twisted Fork menu will showcase the taste and quality that has made Rocky Top Hospitality a Triangle institution.

The restaurant’s menu will boast variety and value, with no item more than $15. Diners will enjoy Twisted Fork’s famous and delicious desserts, homemade as always by Chef Richard Smith. This includes a wide variety of cakes, pies, brownies, cupcakes and oversized “Big Kid” cookies.

Fresh and fun choices, including the best BLT in town and a savory corn and crab soup, will leave patrons begging for a second helping. The renovated menu that also features a variety of appetizers, tacos, burgers, sandwiches and entrees, including mouth-watering wings, chicken tenders with local honey and a to-die-for French dip with provolone and Dijon mustard cream. Diners wanting a dramatic flair can choose from short rib tacos, the Soccer Mom’s Masterpiece burger with peanut butter, house made strawberry jam and double bacon, or savory bacon-wrapped shrimp and grits.

Along with extensive locally-source food options, Twisted Fork’s drink menu invites diners to take a date out for drinks or kick back to enjoy an array of specially-crafted cocktails and tasty brews. The restaurant’s bar boasts 30 beers on tap including 15 North Carolina craft beers, as well as Signature Twisted cocktails and red and white wines. Guests are encouraged to check the drinks menu for daily bar specials as well.
