Badger Maps, a route mapping app for sales professionals, was selected by GMIC 2013 as one of the top 20 finalists in the G-Startup Competition.

San Francisco, CA, October 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- GMIC SV, Silicon Valley’s largest mobile expo with over 10,000 developers, executives, startups, and investors from over 60 countries, is convening this weekend; participants will learn the most recent developments in trends and implications in the adoption and application of mobile technology. The "G-Startup Competition" promises to be a highlight of the conference. To pick the finalists, a panel nominated 20 apps from over 100 applicants representing over 24 countries. Badger Maps, a route mapping app for sales professionals, was named a finalist.

“Badger’s goal is to provide sales professionals with an effective, location-based, mobile application that streamlines the workflow, speeding up the selling process,” said Aaron Tolson, co-founder and COO of Badger Maps. “We’re are humbled by the opportunity to present our application as a finalist.”

The Badger Map uses the mapping applications native to smartphones and tablets to display customer locations, build a schedule that efficiently routes to those locations, and adjust that schedule as plans change. Through the app, sales reps search and filter to find the customers that are important making the management of hundreds or thousands of distributed accounts a much more “manageable” process.

The app displays customers on the map, supplied from an Excel spreadsheet or a direct connection to the CRM with real time information. Sales teams can share routes and inside sales reps can set up routes for their outside reps securing additional meetings to fill holes in their day and adjusting as plans change.
