)-- A new Twitter feed has been established by the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance in conjunction with the organization's upcoming national conference.
"Twitter has become the most significant means of providing instant updates in conjunction with major events," declares Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, the long term care insurance trade group. The organization plans to use the Twitter feed, the organization's first, to update thousands of insurance professionals as well as to coordinate live discussions as part of the live feed of sessions from the event.
For the first time, the Association announced plans to offer insurance agents and others within the industry free access to view and participate in key sessions from the three-day conference. "The Summit takes place in Kansas City and we expect hundreds of insurance professionals to attend and thousands to be watching online," Slome explains.
