Long Term Care Insurance Association's Group Approaches 4,000th Member

The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance online discussion group for insurance professionals has reached the 4,000 member milestone.

Los Angeles, CA, November 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The nation's largest online discussion group focused on topics relating to long term care insurance is reaching a significant milestone according to the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance.

"Long term care insurance is the most complicated insurance product I've encountered and we wanted a single place where insurance and financial professionals could share their knowledge and seek information," explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance. The organization established an online group specifically for insurance professionals to learn more about the marketing and selling of long term care insurance solutions.

"When we started the group, I thought having a couple of hundred participants would be the most we'd achieve," Slome notes. "The fact that the group is approaching its 4,000th member is something I never imagined but it is evidence of the significant interest in long term care insurance."

The discussion group is available free of charge and open to anyone involved in the sale or marketing of insurance or financial services products. "We closely monitor the board and do not allow any promotional or marketing messages," Slome adds. "The group exists strictly so that people can pose questions, start discussions and seek information from experts in the industry."
