Al Dente, Regional Italian Cuisine in Washington D.C., Offers New Lunch Tasting Menu and Brunch


A regional Italian restaurant in the Wesley Heights section of Washington D.C. is now offering a Lunch Tasting and Brunch menu. Learn more about Chef Roberto and sample his creations at Al Dente. He was named Esquire Magazine’s Chef of the Year in 2012.

Washington, DC, November 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Al Dente is an Italian Trattoria in Wesley Heights, Washington D.C. Recently, Chef Roberto Donna launched a new Lunch Tasting Menu and a Saturday and Sunday Brunch menu as well as a special Thanksgiving meal.

Stop in and “create your own salad” for $9.95. Or, sample Chef Roberto’s finest culinary creations with the Lunch Tasting Menu: three courses including dessert for only $15.95 per person with selections of salads and entrees. Restaurant specials are available during lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The lunch menu includes a selection of pasta, fresh fish and the finest meats, sandwiches, pizzas and more.

Chef Roberto is already creating a following for his elegant Prix Fixe Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Select from egg specialties, pancakes, sausages, pasta and more, plus a Bloody Mary or Bellini for just $19.95 per person. Order from the full dinner menu during Brunch, also.

Chef Roberto is the culinary genius behind Al Dente’s menu. He is a well-known chef in Washington D.C. who was named Chef of the Year in 2012 by Esquire magazine. In 2013, Al Dente’s Chef’s Table was selected by Tom Sietsema for The Washington Post’s Fall Dining Guide.

Be sure to stop into Al Dente after work during Happy Hour, Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. This is a great chance to sample Chef Roberto’s hors d’oeuvres and wine selections for only $5, $4 beer, $5 house cocktails and half price pizza.

Make reservations today for the Thanksgiving celebration at Al Dente. This Italian Style Thanksgiving comes with a four-course family-style meal on Thursday, November 28th. The Thanksgiving Lunch menu will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $42 per person, plus tax and gratuities. Dinner is served from 4:30-8 p.m. and costs $35 per person. Children 10 and under are $12 each.
