Chunky Monkey and Patrulla 81, New DVD Releases by World Film Magic

World Film Magic a film and home video company announces their new releases for September, Chunky Monkey from England and Patrulla 81 the Movie from Mexico.

Hollywood, CA, September 18, 2007 --(PR.com)-- World Film Magic, a Hollywood based film and DVD distribution company, announces the release this September 18 2007 of the English comedy Chunky Monkey and Patrulla 81 The Movie.

According to CEO Jose Gonzalez, “World Film Magic is on the cutting edge, bringing high-quality independent cinema to a large and ever-growing online audience.” The Latino owned company offers a variety of motion picture entertainment from around the world in different languages.

“Chunky Monkey”, produced by Phil Hunt and directed by Greg Cruttwell, was referred to as "an Edward Hopper painting commissioned by Monty Python" by Anton Bitel of movie-gazette.com. Already a cult favorite in England, the year’s most controversial comedy is released in uncut, unedited and totally uncompromised form. Having murdered the proprietor of the local curry house for forgetting to send him a Christmas card, Donald Leek is looking forward to his regular “meeting” with a local actress, and Julie Andrews look alike, with unusual sexual habits. As the appointed hour approaches, however, his flat is invaded by a string of uninvited guests including skinhead evangelists, a Latino lounge singer, Donald's overbearing uni-testicled cousin, a porn star, and a man with a huge Afro who claims to be Jesus Christ. Needless to say, all this unwanted disruption irritates Donald - and Donald is someone you do not want to irritate.

“Patrulla 81, the movie” tells the story of the struggles of the multi Latin Grammy winning band. This is the true Story of El Pasito Duranguense. When you truly help people, the whole world lets you go right ahead. But if you do something wrong, you should face the consequences, like the band that did what they thought was right. Fame does not come by itself and much less if you make mistakes. The most awaited Mexican movie of recent times. With renowned Mexican actor Luis Felipe Tovar from El Callejon de los Milagros, Cilantro Y Perejil, y De la Calle. Distinguished Mexican director, Francisco Joel Mendoza (Amor a la Mexicana among others) put together a cast and story that has appealed to the whole family with a film that has earned multiple international film awards like Most Audience award at the Brazil International Festival, Best Direction and Story, Base International Film School, Barcelona Spain, and Movie of the Year, Pantalla de Cristal Festival, Mexico.

These films will be available at www.worldfilmmagic.com and from select major retail and internet outlets.
