The Best of Arlington award is a community-nominated program sponsored by the Arlington Citizen Journal. Readers nominate businesses that represent the best in the city, which is home to famous institutions such as the Dallas Cowboys stadium and the Texas Rangers.

Texas Trust received more nominations than any other financial institution in these markets.

"Our goal is to deliver service that members brag about," said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust Credit Union. “I am grateful for our employees who continually show our members we care about them."

Minge added, "Our members are the reason we're here. We are thankful for the trust they put in us and we are honored that they value the service we provide."

Texas Trust currently has three branches in Arlington. Upon the completion of its merger with Security One Federal Credit Union, it will have five Arlington branches. It will soon relocate its corporate offices to Cordovan Office Park in Arlington, which it purchased last year.

The Arlington Citizen Journal is a community newspaper, owned by the McClatchy Company, the third-largest newspaper company in the U.S.
