Bob Moore Construction Breaks Ground on Chicken E Food Service Distribution Center / Corporate Headquarters in Burleson Texas

Chicken E Food Service and Chicken Express held a groundbreaking ceremony in Burleson, Texas on October 25 at the site of their new distribution center and corporate headquarters office, to be built by design build contractor Bob Moore Construction. The new facility will be nearly 100,000 SF with plans for expansion by approximately 25,000 SF in the future. Site work has begun by Bob Moore Construction.

Arlington, TX, November 03, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Chicken E Food Service and Chicken Express held a groundbreaking ceremony in Burleson, Texas on October 25 at the site of their new distribution center and corporate headquarters office, to be built by design build contractor Bob Moore Construction.

The ceremony included speeches by Burleson Mayor Ken Shetter and representatives from Chicken E Food Service, the Burleson Economic Development Corporation, Bob Moore Construction and Alliance Architects. Dignitaries performed a ceremonial groundbreaking during the event.

The new facility will be nearly 100,000 SF with plans for expansion by approximately 25,000 SF in the future. The distribution center will cover 90,000 SF, and will include 24,000 SF of cooler space and 18,000 SF of freezer space. The corporate headquarters will occupy more than 8,000 SF.

Site work has begun by Bob Moore Construction. The architect is Alliance Architects from Richardson Texas and the civil engineer is Pacheco and Koch of Fort Worth and Dallas.

Bradley Ford and Justin Bond of the Burleson Economic Development Corporation represented the seller of the property. Kyle Poulson and Jack Huff of Transwestern Real Estate Group represented Chicken E Food Services as the buyer of the property and development partner for the project. Burleson city officials and the Burleson Economic Development Corporation expressed their excitement to have this growing company relocate to 26 acres in the 160-acre HighPoint Business Park. The Chicken E Food Service facility will be the first new building in the business park. Their decision to relocate to Burleson has already resulted in several new business prospects expressing interest in expanding to Burleson.
