New Model 9746 Manual A/B Switch System Accommodates Up to 40 Channels

Cranston, RI, November 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, USA, announces the new Model 9746 Series of High Density A/B switches. The Model 9746 series is comprised of five models that can be purchased separately. Models accommodate 8, 16, 24, 32 and 40 channels. Up to 40 channels fit into a standard rack-mount style chassis that is 19” W x 8.75” H x 13” D (48.3 x 22.2 x 33.0 cm). This switching solution allows the users to add quick and easy backup switching capability to their data network.

Each switch in the Model 9746 system is manually operated. The user controls each channel separately via a knob located on the front panel. There is one A/B selector knob per channel. Each switch channel has a monitor port located on the top panel, one monitor port per channel. Monitor port wires are soldered to the rotary switches at the same points as the common port wires. Internal wiring T586B utilizes CAT5e rated material and CAT5e rated connectors. Each switch switches all 8 pins of the RJ45 interface. No power is required for this manual switch.
