Rosa’s Derek Bartlett to Present Work on Mechanistic Modeling in Diabetes Drug Design at the AAPS Conference

LLC, a drug development advisory firm with expertise in drug-disease modeling and simulation, today announced that Dr. Derek Bartlett, Senior Engineer, will present at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Annual Meeting (November 10th – 14th), San Antonio Texas. Dr. Bartlett’s poster is entitled “Application of a physiologically based model incorporating drug-specific PK modules to support optimization of GLP-1 receptor agonist combination therapies for type 2 diabetes.” He will illustrate how mechanistic models can be used to evaluate the impact of different methods of drug formulation and delivery and guide the rational design of combination therapy strategies.
