The Best Things in Life Are Free: Emmy Celebrities Are Treated to Tax-Free SWAG: Expert Advice from the Author of the Shoe Diet

St. Louis, MO, September 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- In honor of the 59th annual Emmy Awards, celebrities were treated not only to expensive luxury items but also to expert luxury advice: How to achieve healthy long term goals (weight loss, or smoking cessation) using fabulous shoes as short term rewards.

As part of a celebrity Award Suites event, (produced by Mix Media, and Madison & Mulholland) stars from hit shows like Ugly Betty, Heroes, The Office, CSI and The Sopranos were offered signed copies of the most fashionable diet book: The Shoe Diet (published by Elbasy Press LLC).

Although shoes were not offered, Dr Isabelle R Shaw, the author herself, was present sharing her expert advice and creating personalized programs to help kick any nasty habits, including horrible diets.

But can shoes really help us to lose weight? “Absolutely!” Says Dr Shaw. The Shoe Diet is all about reinforcing healthy behaviors with beautiful shoes. Using simple cognitive behavioral techniques, this pretty little book offers key concepts for successful weight loss that are easily understandable and applicable to everyday life.

Dr Shaw developed The Shoe Diet to help herself quit smoking, and then to lose the weight she gained afterward. Known to her friends as “the fashion scientist,” she has over 10 years’ experience in psychology research as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Biomedical Science.

Dr Shaw still lives by her motto: Anything worth doing is worth doing in a fabulous pair of shoes. No wonder all the celebrities were lining up to hear what she had to say.
