Manifestationz Gallery Welcomes Acclaimed Artist Richard Wilson
Acclaimed Artist Richard Wilson shows his nostalgic collection of work at Manifestationz Art Gallery & Studio in Cary NC. Wilson joins the ranks of artists such as Ronald Tutone, Gustavo De Los Rios, and Stephen Hayes who have shown collections at the Cary NC gallery.
Wilson has produced an impressive 20-year career as a productive professional artist, freelance and corporate graphic designer, and instructor at Pitt Community College. His artistic strength is his capacity to select those moments that transcend the personal and can reach a broader audience. Some paintings are nostalgic, some express human connections found within families, and some express the challenges of life; however, all of his painting express warmth and discretion. Wilson does many commission portraits as well, and has the capacity to extract personality and depth from his subjects faithfully represented in his realistic style. His popular shadow series has been well received, with the International Tennis Hall of Fame purchasing his ‘In His Shadow’ piece on Arthur Ashe.
Always passionate about the work he produces, Wilson has received numerous awards in juried exhibitions, and recognized in various communities. His pieces have also been purchased by numerous celebrities including Tina Knowles (fashion designer and mother of Beyonce Knowles), Ed Gordon (Television and radio news personality), and many more.
Manifestationz is pleased to have Wilson share his love of capturing life’s beautiful moments at the gallery. Wilson will join the ranks of artists such as Ronald Tutone, Gustavo De Los Rios, and Stephen Hayes at the Cary NC gallery.
