)-- The Association of Timeshare Recyclers (ATR), a non-profit corporation established to help rebuild the financial stability of the timeshare industry, has initiated an outreach program for Home Owners Associations (HOA’s) to address issues between legacy resorts and its owners.
The HOA Outreach Program has been designed to help bridge the gap between Legacy Resorts and Legacy Owners. By opening clear lines of communication at these aging properties, the ATR hopes to eliminate any disconnect between the resort and its members, while working towards various solutions to create a win-win scenario for everyone involved.

Through Resort Revenue Generation programs, HOA’s are able to funnel unsold inventory through the many rental and resale distribution channels that the ATR manages. These programs assist HOA’s to recycle foreclosed, surrendered, unsold, or delinquent intervals. Maintenance Fee Absorption Programs are offered on a case-by-case basis where a qualifying HOA may offer a maintenance fee waiver, or discount, for their distressed members.
In today’s timeshare market, existing resorts need to compete with new and exciting features being offered by active sales rooms at modern resort developments. Through ATR’s Member Upgrade programs, resorts can offer beneficial upgrades to current resort owners while delivering new revenue streams for their property.
