ADVANTAGE Fall Software Release in Accordance with RMI’s Published 10 Year Update Schedule

Avon, CT, December 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- RMI is pleased to announce the Fall 2013 release of their ADVANTAGE Cloud business management solution for the rental, sales and service industries. This release falls in line with RMI’s 10 Year Update and Upgrade commitment.

New Features
New “Usage Based” Rental Billing Model – Some equipment rental companies invoice their customers based on actual use of equipment rather than the fact that it was available for use on the job site. When the equipment is in use, the full daily rate is charged. When the equipment is partially used or idle, discounted rates, such as a standby rate or a non-use rate, are in effect. RMI has extended the ADVANTAGE billing engine to include a new billing model, named Usage Billing. As the name implies, the rental rates billed are based how the equipment was – or wasn’t - used during the billing cycle.

Flexible user-defined Usage codes along with a daily view of equipment on rent makes this process quick and easy to complete, and can be done at the line, order or customer level.

Reporting Improvements
This quarter, RMI releases one new report and one enhanced report.
· Time – Physical Utilization is a new report developed in accordance with the American Rental Association industry standards for reporting and benchmarking fleet efficiency and utilization to ensure consistency in reporting across the rental market.
· The Quote Conversion report is an effective tool for analyzing the conversion rate of Rental Quotes to Rental Orders. The enhancements to this report include filtering by salesperson during the reporting period and a detailed breakdown of the quote conversion activity.
