Carasan to Participate in First Annual Haute.Lanta Fashion Week 2007

Carasan invited to come to Atlanta to participate in the First Annual Haute.Lanta Fashion Week’s Trunk Shows and Swag Suites.

Atlanta, GA, September 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- New York Couture designers Terri and Cassandra Rosenthal of Carasan were invited to come to Atlanta to participate in the First Annual Haute.Lanta Fashion Week at the trendy Park Central. Carasan will be having a trunk show showcasing their spring 2008 collection as well as a Sample Sale on Saturday, September 22nd during the week long event.

Friday, September 21st and Saturday the 22nd, Carasan will be receiving press as well as local and international celebrities at the shows’ Swag Suites, where lucky event goers will get their hands on one of Carasan’s much coveted Eco-Friendly “Leah Rings”. These are the rings that Entertainment Weekly has included in their exclusive Celebrity VIP Gift Baskets for both the Oscar’s as well as the Emmy’s.

Carasan is one of the hottest luxury women’s wear brands on the market today. They have been recently called the American Couturier of Knits. The "Leah Ring”, like all of Carasan’s designs, is highly sought out because of its original handwork. And like everything they do, these are copyrighted designs. And if a sheer work of art is what comes to mind upon viewing any of the designs of Carasan, then you have called to mind a comparison that is not far from the truth, as the designers are inspired by art and nature in all that they create for their line. Staying true to their commitment of providing quality not quantity, Carasan will never be a mass-market company.

Terri and Cassandra Rosenthal are the mother-daughter design duo who are the faces behind this small, but internationally known label. Carasan epitomizes today’s young American Couture, transcending time with its authentic creations while looking back into history for inspiration.

Since beginning operations in 2001, Carasan has been involved with the Golden Trailer Awards Show, has had placement in independent films, and has been seen in numerous magazines.

The event takes place from September 19 through September 23, 2007 and is hosted by 2605 Park Central in Decatur, Georgia. Haute.Lanta Fashion Week was created by The Couture Connoisseur Fashion Network (CCFN) to provide a platform for local and international designers to showcase their Spring/Summer 2008 collections to buyers, consumers, celebrities, international media, and fashion forward socialites.

CCFN has an impressive line-up of events for this extravagant week of fashion, including a mansion pre-party and the official Haute.Lanta Fashion Week kick off event sponsored by Atlanta’s premier night club, Fever. A five million dollar diamond accessory exhibit sponsored by H. Couture Beauty, the multi-million dollar beauty empire owned by Taysha Smith Valez, will be displayed throughout the week. CCFN is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of an event that will have such a positive economic impact on the city of Atlanta as well as the local design industry as a whole.

Haute.Lanta Fashion Week™ has already received a Phoenix Award from Mayor Shirley Franklin and has the support of several city officials. 30 designers including five noted industry giants will show their collections over the five-day period.

A portion of the proceeds from Haute.Lanta Fashion Week™ will go to Save the Children, the leading independent organization working to create opportunities for the world's children to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives. For more information, log on to www.savethechildren.org.
