Canandaigua, NY, September 26, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Wick-edly Sent Soap and Candle Company launches a Paint the Town Pink product line to raise money and awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and while some are touched by women in their lives who’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer, many can find ways to spread awareness and persuade other women for mammogram testing. This is the month pink ribbons will adorn many thoughtful women. Wick-edly Sent Soap and Candle Company in Canandaigua, New York is doing their share by creating an exclusive line available only in the month of October.
Paint the Town Pink is a mixture of fresh pink grapefruit with a luscious blend of sweet mimosa, which is already in their main line of lotions and potions. Paint The Town Pink, however, has four different products that were exclusively made for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. “We are very excited to create an exclusive line to help women in need,” Don Stevens said, co-owner of the shop. He has lost an aunt to breast cancer and can only hope that raising awareness can save more lives.
In addition to raising awareness, 25% of the proceeds of sales for Paint the Town Pink products are going to Embrace Your Sisters, a local organization dedicated to helping people in the Finger Lakes region with emergency funds when faced with a diagnosis of breast cancer.
The four products include European bath salts, bubble bath, a new effervescent bath fizz, and a soy candle, all with their famous scent Grapefruit and Mimosa. The Paint the Town Pink products are available in their store or online at (http://www.escentedcandle.com) only during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Wick-edly Sent creates their own soy candles and bath products in Canandaigua, a city in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York.
