New Seminar from The Strategic Chiropractor Teaches Doctors How to Navigate Obamacare, ICD-10 and Other Changes in 2014

The healthcare industry is changing rapidly and small physician practices such as chiropractors often get left behind in the myriad of new billing, coding, and compliance requirements. The Strategic Chiropractor has set out to teach the profession how to handle the changes of “chiropractic 3.0” in his latest seminar series.

Seattle, WA, December 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Over the last several years, new compliance requirements, payer policy changes and seemingly constant updates to chiropractic billing and coding rules have flustered for even the most connected chiropractors. New graduates undoubtedly feel like they have been thrown headlong into a marketplace they don’t understand and one that will sting them financially if they cannot quickly master the business aspects of running a chiropractic practice in 2014.

Although the healthcare industry changes are not unique to chiropractors, as relatively small fish in a huge sea of practitioners, chiropractors are especially at risk for financial devastation if they cannot keep up with the times.

As a result, chiropractors in states like Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California are increasingly turning to one resource to help them make sense of the healthcare business: Dr. Tom Necela, who is known as “The Strategic Chiropractor.” Necela is the President of a consulting firm that bears The Strategic Chiropractor name and is dedicated to enhancing the business sense of chiropractors all over the country – but particularly here in the Northwest.

At first glance, Dr. Necela is a strangely perfect candidate to help the chiropractors swim through the sea of regulations. For years he maintained a private practice in Washington State but it’s his fortuitous background as a former Insurance Claims Analyst, Certified Professional Coder, Compliance Professional and chiropractic’s first Certified Professional Medical Auditor that gives him virtually unmatched credibility in this arena.

Starting in January 2014, Dr. Tom Necela will be coming to Spokane, Seattle and Portland to conduct a new seminar series. Entitled “Chiropractic 3.0,” these workshops are aimed at both new and experienced chiropractors who are looking for ways to survive and thrive in the face of Obamacare, ICD-10 changes and an increasingly competitive healthcare environment.

The Strategic Chiropractor seminars often garnish rave reviews due to the fact that attendees feel that Dr. Necela’s information is both vital and unique. According to Tom West, DC of Ketchum, Idaho “Dr. Necela’s seminar was the first billing, coding and documentation seminar that I left feeling encouraged and confident instead of intimidated and confused.”

Christine Saleeby, a chiropractic assistant in Seattle, WA echoes a similar feeling from a staff perspective: “Strategic Chiropractor seminars are always great, always motivational and always helpful! I keep coming back because there is new material to learn and info I can’t believe I missed from the previous event!”

Dr. Necela’s Spokane seminar will take place on Saturday, January 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn Spokane Airport. The Seattle sessions will be held on Thursday January 30 and Saturday, February 1 and are both at Embassy Suites Seattle Airport. Additionally, Dr. Necela will also be speaking on ICD-10 changes at the Oregon Chiropractic Association convention in Portlan at the Red Lion in Jantzen Beach from February 7-9.
