New York, NY, December 29, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Now that the winter season is in full swing, each passing day of 2013 brings us one step closer to the New Year. This tradition of happily embracing the new year goes back to olden times, when the Romans would greet the new year as a time of gift-giving. Today it remains a crucial part of the American way of life, taking one of the coldest times of the year and magically reinventing it into a time of happiness, resolution and change.
As the New Year steadily approaches, Morris Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has been dedicating many hours making sure that all of its staff and residents have the chance to take part in the festivities. The entire home has been tastefully decorated in honor of the festive time of year, and all residents are encouraged to participate in the many celebratory events planned.
“We at Morris Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center love the holiday season. The holiday spirit brings out the best in everybody, and we do our best to carry that feeling over to our residents. There is no reason anybody should not enjoy the holiday cheer, even if they aren’t at home,” remarked Estelle Rono, Assistant Administrator at Morris Park. “Additionally, we will be providing our residents and their families with healthy New Years resolutions and tips, so that they can start the New Year in the healthiest way possible.”
The families and friends of all staff and residents are all cordially invited to join their loved ones in celebration of the holiday season. An elaborately prepared meal and customary holiday events and games have been planned in honor of the time of year. Morris Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center wishes all of its staff, employees, and their loved ones a happy and healthy new year.
