Bookateer Publishing Releases "Full Moon Shining Bright" by Russ Salk, a Connecticut Man's Endeavor Into Japanese Poetry

Russ Salk of Windsor Locks, Connecticut has released a book of Haiku on a variety of classic and contemporary topics.

Windsor Locks, CT, December 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Russ Salk, a resident of Windsor Locks, has just published "Full Moon Shining Bright," a collection of haikus. A haiku is three lines of "poetic prose" expressing a single thought. Having recently read a book in which haikus played a prominent role, he wrote some just for fun. Russ thought the results were great, and friends encouraged him to do more with them. This book is the result.

Topics include two of his major interests, nature and music. There are also references to Star Trek, James Bond, broken-down cars, and American history. The writing, which varies from funny to thoughtful to serious, is always fresh and whimsical, and will bring a sense of joy to the reader.

Russ, concerned with keeping the book affordable, has priced it at $7.50. It is available at a discount from Amazon.com and can be found online at Barnes & Noble. Hopefully, it will appear at local stores soon. It is also available as an e-book.

Any stores interested in selling this book may notify Russ at rsalk.orders@hotmail.com.
