Popular Doggie Day Care Upgrades Its Facilities

Doggie Daycare in Port Jefferson Station expands to a 7,300 square foot facility.

Port Jefferson Station, NY, September 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Ruff House formerly on 200 Wilson Street has moved their Port Jefferson Station facility to 509-1 Bicycle Path Port Jefferson Station NY. Along with being able to accommodate greater numbers of dogs for their day care program, beginner and advanced training will also take place at this new location.

After six years at Wilson Street, Owner and Master Trainer Michael Gould realized it was time to make a move. “As attached as I am to this place and as much hard work as I’ve put into it I realized this summer that we had grown out of it. I never want to tell a customer his or her dog can’t play today because we have no room for him.”

Extensive renovations to 509-1 Bicycle Path have been taking place since early August. These include a state-of-the-art digital camera system for on-site and remote surveillance, larger play rooms with secure outside access for the dogs and ample customer parking. There is also a grooming room and 2,000 square feet in the back of the building for group and private obedience lessons. Overnight guests will have their own suites complete with ergonomic beds, stainless steel feeding dishes and lullabies piped into their rooms.
