New York Author Releases New Work of Fiction - "Monday and Beyond: Blessings and Curses"

New York, NY, January 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Author, Stephen Sangirardi is pleased to announce the release of his new book, "Monday and Beyond: Blessings and Curses."

In the sequel to "Monday Afternoon," hero Angelo Aiello is beset with new troubles amid old temptations. Attempting to cleave his growing disability from past moral transgressions, at least in his own mind, in the midst of an exasperating marriage, Angelo encounters big scenes of trial and self-doubt as he persists in questing anew for meaning in life, and new chances for fulfillment.

The results, in big scenes that are capable of summoning up Dante and Tristram Shandy at the same time, is a daunting yet fully voiced narrative of a refusal to yield to the inroads made by middle-aged MS even as it brings Angelo and his wife Alice to a place of moral reckoning and bargaining, both with the disease and with each other. Will the shadow of Monica Richardson, femme fatale from Connecticut, ever allow full sunlight again?

Survival in such straits depends, it seems, on time and tides, as this colorful yet fully reflective narrative tracks a moral compass that often spins in challenging, bewildering ways.

"Monday and Beyond: Blessings and Curses" is available in both print and ebook format.
