Primera Energy Commits to Environmental Consciousness in the New Year

Primera Energy LLC has plans to expand in 2014 while preserving the landscape of the Eagle Ford.

San Antonio, TN, January 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas is producing at one of the highest rates in the United States: it has an estimated 20 to 25 more years’ worth of oil and natural gas available in its reserves. Providing over 116,000 jobs in 2013 alone, the Eagle Ford promises to nurture the Texas economy for years to come.

Primera Energy LLC has been an operator in the Eagle Ford Shale for years, with plans for expansion this year.

Primera Energy resolved to continue environmental preservation as it plans to drill several new wells in 2014. Primera Energy has already streamlined its drilling processes to reduce environmental impact, using eco-friendly technology to preserve the livelihood of the Eagle Ford.

But this wasn’t enough for this expanding Lone Star company. As it grows, Primera Energy’s goal is to preserve the rural beauty of the Eagle Ford for future generations.

The company is currently negotiating plans to plant trees at its drilling sites to preserve the landscape. Primera Energy plans to grow native, drought-resistant trees such as live oaks and cedar elms that will survive even in harsh Texas summers. The trees will replenish the landscape with native, water-efficient vegetation.

With this new program development, Primera Energy is taking the extra step to ensure environmentally-responsible oil and natural gas extraction in the Eagle Ford Shale.
