Career Step Releases Video Overview of the MyCAA Program

Career Step has just released a short video on the MyCAA program in an effort to help more military spouses find out about this valuable educational scholarship program.

Provo, UT, January 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Career Step, an online school providing career-focused education, has just released a short animated video that provides an overview of the MyCAA military spouse education funding program in an effort to help more military spouses find out about this valuable educational scholarship program.

“The MyCAA funding program is a great resource for military spouses that, unfortunately, many are unaware of,” said Tim Reynolds, Career Step Military Liaison. “We are creating resources like this new video with the goal of helping more spouses find out about MyCAA so they can take advantage of the opportunity to get education that can truly improve their lives.”

Career Step’s new video quickly answers questions about why the program exists, who qualifies, and what is covered under the MyCAA grant. Spouses are walked through a qualification checklist so that by the end they have a clear idea of whether they qualify for the funding and where they can go for more information on taking advantage of the program.

“The Department of Defense reports that over 85 percent of military spouses want or need work, and education is one of the very best ways to improve your ability to have a successful career,” said Ryan Ewer, Career Step Vice President of Enrollments and Marketing. “There are over a million military spouses eligible for MyCAA funding, so helping them discover this funding and learn how they can take advantage of it can make a big difference within the military community.”

Career Step has been serving the military community for over 20 years and is involved in a number of nitiatives including MyCAA and the Military Spouse Employment Partnership. Named as a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs magazine for four years in a row, the school offers a number of military-specific benefits such as tuition discounts and dedicated academic advisors.
