Ed McGuire Named President of Bob Moore Construction

Bob Moore Construction is pleased to announce that Ed McGuire has been named the company's new President. Mr. McGuire assumes his new position with thirty years of industry experience in Texas, Oklahoma and around the country and is a leader in organizations such as Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) and American Concrete Institute (ACI).

Arlington, TX, January 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Bob Moore Construction is pleased to announce that Ed McGuire has been named the company's new President.

Mr. McGuire assumes his new position with thirty years of industry experience in Texas, Oklahoma and around the country. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science from Iowa State University in 1983, and joined Bob Moore Construction as an estimator in 1984. He promoted quickly within the company, from estimator to project management, and became Vice President of Construction in 1992.

Since then, Mr. McGuire has provided executive-level oversight for all construction and field operations for the company, leading project management and field personnel, coordinating and negotiating with clients and overseeing ongoing projects. Mr. McGuire is a partner of Bob Moore Construction, and promotes to the position of President from his most recent role as Executive Vice President.

A nationally recognized construction leader and expert, Mr. McGuire has served on a variety of national industry committees and boards. He is a member (former President) for the Board of Directors for the Tilt-up Concrete Association. He also serves on several committees for the American Concrete Institute (ACI) including Proportioning Concrete Mixtures (Secretary), Construction of Concrete Floors, Design of Floors on Ground, Tilt-up Construction, New Certification Programs, and Tilt-up Construction Certification.
