)-- President Richard Miller of Fineline Printing Group has put it all on the line by purchasing a new 2.5 million dollar Heidelberg Speedmaster printing press, scheduled to be installed and at full production by the end of September 2007. The giant 768 square foot machine is a steep investment in Indiana’s economy that will create at least 25 new jobs over the next two years. President Richard Miller said, “After news spreads that we have this press, I think we’ll have no choice but to bring in more help.”
The enhanced performance Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 is a top of the line 5-color printing press capable of printing 15,000 sheets per hour. It is twice as large as any other machine purchased by Fineline with a sheet size from 28” x 40” inch paper up to 40 point board. Fineline Printing Group is the only printer currently located in Indiana that owns this latest model. “This press will put us in a completely new league of printers,” said Lisa Young, VP of Operations.
