Eight national NPOs are participating in the contest – Action Against Hunger, Arthritis National Research Foundation, ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), Charity: Water, Invisible Children, Kiva, Livestrong Foundation and Medical Teams International – and Livecharity will donate $5000 to the organization that receives the most votes. Every vote helps, so anyone who wants to help is encourage to participate and vote.
The software can be downloaded from the Livecharity.com site or through the Google Chrome Web Store. One must be visiting either site for the download using the Chrome browser. Once the download is in place, the Livecharity button (toolbar) are accessible to the top right of your browser page. This will allow a personalized experience as well as show what money has been earned for donation so far for the selected non-profit organization.
