Pragma::tims 1.5 Unveiled

Pragma::tims 1.5 release works with Skype software and supports Oracle database.

Birmingham, United Kingdom, September 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- QuestByte Ltd. has released a new version of pragma:: tims™, its feature and defect management solution. This is the first pragmasuite™ release developed and distributed by QuestByte after receiving all copyrights from United Mentors GmbH earlier this year.

Pragma::tims now includes a server-side Skype integration. When activated, ticket changes generate textual Skype messages which are sent to the affected users. E-mail notifications can be used instead or combined with Skype messages. In addition to the standard SMTP, pragma::tims is able to use native Lotus Domino functionality to send automatic e-mail notifications.

The new release of pragma::tims provides enhanced ticket references to external documents which copy and store the affected files automatically in the central database. This eliminates the need for a team network drive to share external files and documents.

Also, pragma::tims™ now supports the Oracle database, and continues to offer support of MS SQLServer and the free, open source PostgreSQL.

Pragma::tims remains free for non-commercial use. The free license allows the use of pragma::tims in its full functionality for non-profit projects. For commercial users, a 60-day, fully functional trial version is also available.

The feature and defect management solution pragma::tims can be downloaded directly from the product’s Web site, www.pragmasuite.com. The packages contain all components needed for a full installation on Windows or Linux servers.
