Commdex Releases Whitepaper on How FirstNet Can Deploy a Superior National Public Safety Network

Recommendations for the successful deployment of a national LTE broadband network for public safety.

Atlanta, GA, January 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Commdex has released a new whitepaper that provides recommendations for how FirstNet can build a superior national network – both cost effectively and quickly. FirstNet faces a major challenge in that it must quickly develop a plan that ensures that the network is built to the standard of mission critical communications, and within budget. In this whitepaper, Commdex outlines the options for FirstNet to consider as it deploys the National Public Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN).

To be built by leveraging commercial Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, this network is intended to improve interoperability with a national network built from common standards, as well as enable higher bandwidth for next generation applications for public safety. It must allow first responders to better respond to emergencies, and it is essential that it meets the most important requirements, such as security, preemption, redundancy, reliability, and hardening.
