)-- Online fashion store W Concept, (http:// http://us.wconcept.com/), announced today their recent fashion collaboration with Street Artist Paul Richard. The trendy collection is made up of tee shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts that features Richards drip paintings covering the front. More than simply putting art on a garment that is loved by mainstream demand, W Concept wishes to take a bolder step and become intimate with the artists of emerging skills and talent who have yet to enjoy the exposure they deserve. The collection pieces compliment hipster to high fashion and can be found on the starting at $35 up to $69.
“At W Concept we strive to bring diverse and unique looks to the ever-changing Fashionista. At W Concept we believe strongly that Art is fashion, it is a core fashion value that W Concept shoppers relate to. With that in mind we brought to life this amazing collaboration of work and could not be more thrilled with its outcome,” states W Concept Marketing Manager Sogon Yoon.
The dynamic W Concept and Paul Richard collaboration pieces are available for both men and women featuring skulls, the alphabet, foxes, and full male face sketch’s. All of which are Paul Richard's drip paintings, frequently seen on the sidewalks of Lower Manhattan and different parts of Brooklyn. Many of the works are surely perceived as being vandalistic by some, radical artistic expression by others. A painter whose skills are entirely self-taught, Paul Richard works in his Brooklyn studio and resides in Manhattan. W Concept has had previous successful collaborations with top International Blogger Natalie Off Duty and shoe brand Jinny Kim.
“These are not your ordinary graphic tees and hoodies,” continues W Concept Marketing Manager Sogon Yoon. “When wearing one of these pieces you become moving art. In the same way that each and every day a person puts together his or her signature style. These pieces add an additional twist.”
