MoBiTec Offers CytoCapture-Cell Culture Dishes and Chambers for Single Cell Analysis of Small Non-Adherent Cells

CytoCapture dishes and chambers enable the analysis of small non-adherent cells, exposure studies with time dependent reactions, multiple staining and high resolution microscopy of non-adherent cells, and Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopy (LSM).

Goettingen, Germany, February 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- CytoCapture H-20-10: High resolution analysis of small non-adherent cells

CytoCapture H-20-10 products provide precise arrays of hexagonal microcavities on top of coverglass bottom cell culture labware. Cells with diameters <15 μm (e.g., lymphocytes, monocytes, erythrocytes, etc.) sediment spontaneously into the microcavities where they are trapped by surface tension forces.

Cells which would usually move due to fluidic convection reside at their location and can be traced and observed after multiple fluid exchanges and staining procedures and/or different time points. Fixation, permeabilization, and immunohistochemistry can be performed while the cells maintain their position. Media can be exchanged and substances added without interference of the cell location.

Features:

• Coverglass bottom labware with microstructured polymer coating
• Microcavities with hexagonal footprint
• Microcavities of 20 μm width and 10 μm depth
• Imaging Dish or Imaging Chamber (8-well) format
• Hydrophilic surface

CytoCapture S-40-15: 3D cultivation of adherent cells or high resolution analysis of larger non-adherent cells.

CytoCapture S-40-15 products provide precise arrays of square-type microcavities on top of coverglass bottom cell culture labware. Cells with diameters <30 μm sediment spontaneously into the microcavities where they are trapped by surface tension forces.

Location of non-adherent cells can be controlled over time or liquids exchanged. Adherent cells use the microcavities for structure-guided growth and 3D orientation. Perform cell-cell interaction studies and intracellular localization studies.

Features:

• Coverglass bottom labware with microstructured polymer coating
• Microcavities with square-type footprint
• Microcavities of 40 μm width and 15 μm depth
• Imaging Dish or Imaging Chamber (8-well) format
• Tissue Culture (TC) surface

CytoCapture H-250-100 and S-500-100: High resolution analysis of small non-adherent cells
CytoCapture H-250-100 and S-500-100 products provide precise arrays of hexagonal or square-type microcavities on top of coverglass bottom cell culture labware. Groups of cells sediment spontaneously and randomly into the microcavities where they are trapped by surface tension forces. Exact placement by micropipettes and micromanipulators is greatly facilitated.

Cells which would usually move due to fluidic convection reside at their location and can be traced and observed after multiple fluid exchanges and staining procedures and/or different time points. Fixation, permeabilization, and immunohistochemistry can be performed while the cells maintain their position. Media can be exchanged and substances added without interferening with the cells' location.

Features:

• Coverglass bottom labware with microstructured polymer coating
• Microcavities with hexagonal footprint, 250 μm width, 100 μm depth
• Microcavities with square type footprint, 500 μm width, 100 μm depth
• Imaging Dish format

CytoCapture LCA H-250-100 and S-500-100: Cellular spheroid creation, cultivation, and high resolution analysis
CytoCapture Low Cell Adhesion (LCA) products provide precise arrays of hexagonal or square-type microcavities on top of coverglass bottom cell culture labware. The microcavities are coated with a special surface to suppress cell adhesion and spreading. Cells sediment spontaneously into the microcavities where they form spontaenously spheroids within 24-48 hours.

Location of conventionally floating spheroids can be controlled over time or after liquid exchanges. Perform cell-cell interaction studies, in vitro tumor biology, or stem cell research experiments.

Features:

• Coverglass bottom labware with microstructured polymer coating
• Microcavities with hexagonal footprint, 250 μm width, 100 μm depth
• Microcavities with square-type footprint, 500 μm width, 100 μm depth
• Imaging Dish or Imaging Chamber (8-well) format
• Low Cell Adhesion (LCA) surface

CytoCapture chambers and dishes labware for cultivation and imaging of small non-adherent cells is the newest addition to MoBiTec's successful range of labware products used for high-resolution imaging by scientists across the world.
