Globus Cork Installation at Cumberland Towers, Little Rock, Arkansas

St. Louis, MO, February 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Globus Cork, Inc. has been installed in Cumberland Towers, located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The installation was done in all hallways as well as the kitchen, dining area and conference rooms. Cumberland Towers is a senior public housing complex that maintains 178 apartments.

Cork flooring is an excellent option for senior housing as it is durable, comfortable to walk on, easy to install and maintain. Walkers, canes or wheel chairs will not cause damage. For seniors, as this is resilient flooring, it is easier on the knees, back, feet and ankles while standing. It is easy to maintain, and can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Unlike carpeting, spills can be easily wiped up. Cork helps prevent allergens from building up in the room and does not absorb liquids or odors.

Globus Cork is the environmentally sound choice for flooring. It is 100% environmentally safe and works as a natural insulation. Not only are the tiles beautiful in color but they are also water and fire resistant. The trees are grown in the Mediterranean and the tree is never destroyed. Our cork tiles are cut to size as requested. Each order is a custom order to the clients specifications. We offer 25 tile shapes and sizes in 38 colors along with custom color and size capabilities.

Globus Cork is the only US-based manufacturer of colored cork floor and wall tiles. For further information, contact tricia@corkfloor.com.
