NC Gutter Guys Donates Free Gutters to Habitat for Humanity
Every year NC Gutter Guys installs gutters on Habitat for Humanity homes, their main charity.
Raleigh, NC, February 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- NC Gutter Guys, Inc. has donated the installation of gutters and downspouts on a new home in Apex built by Wake County Habitat for Humanity. The company also donated the materials and installation labor for downspout extensions to promote better drainage for the property as well as heavy-duty metal drip edge to ensure that water does not fall behind the new gutters.
NC Gutter Guys, Inc. has a standing offer to donate a free gutter installation every year on a new Habitat house and previously put up free gutters for Habitat in Raleigh.
“Our donation is one way that we try to make a difference by giving back to our local communities in Wake County,” said Tom Bell, of NC Gutter Guys, Inc. “I encourage all North Carolinians to help this wonderful cause in whatever way they can.”
NC Gutter Guys, Inc. also volunteers time to help erect Habitat homes, donates financially to Habitat, and gives surplus building materials to Habitat as well.
Gutters are critical to a home’s structural integrity. Rain water pooling close to a foundation can cause damage that is expensive to fix. For families at or below the poverty level, such costly repairs are not financially feasible.
