Control Model 9426 Dual-Channel 12-to-1 Network Switch Simply with Rotary Knob

The Model 9426 DB9 12 to 1 Network Switch shares a device connected to the COM port with 12 other devices. This capability is utilized for each channel.

This switch system is comprised of two independent sharing switches efficiently packaged in a 19” wide 2U high (3.5”) rackmount unit. IT managers can independently switch each of the two channels manually via two rotary knobs located on the front panel.

For each channel, the Model 9426 enables quick connection to any one of 12 DB9 interface devices or networks from one COMMON device. All 9 pins of the DB9 interface are switched. The Model 9426 is transparent to data speed and format. No external power is required for this manually operated switch. The switch is housed in an attractive anodized black box packaging that provides EMI/RFI shielding.

The port connectors include (13) DB9 female connectors labeled 1 through 12, and COMMON for each channel. The front-panel controls include (2) manual rotary switches. The switch dimensions are 19.0” W x 3.5” H x 8.0” D (48.3 x 8.9 x 20.3 cm). The Model 9426 weighs approximately 5.0 lbs. (2.3 Kg).
