Washington, DC, February 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 7000 Adelphi Rd in Hyattsville, MD, the Ausar Auset Society International (the Society) and the Association for Cultivation and Education (ACE) invite you to participate in the "Celebrating the Tradition of African Queens" ceremony for the enstoolment of Hem Shekhem Sanekhem Nerta EnKamit as an Ur Aua-t (Queen Mother) in the Washington, DC Hesp (region). The Society was founded in September 1973 by Ra Un Nefer Amen I, The Shekhem Ur Shekhem (King Great King) who will perform the ceremony in conjunction with the Nesuitu (International Queen Mothers). They will be joined by the Ur Auau (Paramount Kings of DC, Philadelphia, & London) and Ur Aua-tu (Paramount Queen Mothers of DC, Milwaukee, Oakland, Charlotte & Chicago) and Ausar Auset members from many of the 40-plus cities where "Hespu" (traditional areas) and Study Groups exist.

This promotion to Queen Mother is an important achievement. The Kings and Queen Mothers of Ausar Auset International are responsible for providing oversight and support for the spiritual needs and programs for members and families. Also for developing, managing and overseeing programs, institutions, members’ social needs (such as schools and health care services), the operation of businesses and other economic activities designed to provide financial stability for the community.

Organized on the principle of the African Kingship, on November 15th, 1985 in Ghana, the Asantehene (King of Asante) Otumfou Opoku Ware II (supported by Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong, Omanhene (Paramount King) of Agogo Traditional Area) presented the "epoh" Stool to Shekhem Ur Shekhem, Ra Un Nefer Amen I, officially recognizing the Society’s Kingship in Ghana. Additionally, Ausar Auset Society’s Kingship has been officially received in Nigeria and South Africa. Therefore, as it has many times in the past, Ausar Auset will officially host African Royalty at this event as well.

A Pan African organization, Ausar Auset Society’s core values are extracted from the world’s oldest Civilization and Religious System, the great African Civilization of Ancient Kamit (Egypt). The primary principle, which guides Ausar Auset Society is that since "Man" is made in the likeness of God, "Man’s" essence is also Divine. Therefore, each man and woman has as their "Divine Birth-right" the ability, right, and responsibility to "awaken" his/her Divine attributes and become "Ausar," which symbolizes the man/woman who has become "one" with God, while on Earth. Even though most of the historical records of Kamit were destroyed by invaders, hundreds still exist to evidence the fact that men and woman of all ranks, in fact, became "one" with God and were proclaimed "Ausar" by their community.

Ausar Auset Society provides spiritual training centered on the process of becoming a "God Man/Woman," and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of African people the world over. A prolific writer, the Shekhem Ur Shekhem has authored more than forty books including the Society’s core curricular material- the seven volume series: "Metu Neter" (Word of God). Through studying the Metu Neter, society members not only learn the history and culture of the Great Ancient Black foundation of civilization (Ancient Kamit (Egypt)), but are given the "keys" to living the "greatness" of African culture and holding fast to that greatness in their daily lives.

To determine how you can witness the Greatness of African Culture by attending this enstoolment contact the Ausar Auset Society-DC at 202 630-2507 or ausar.auset.wash.dc@gmail.com.
