Create Labels to Give Some Rest to Your Brain, While Prioritizing and Categorizing Relevant Tasks in Proofhub

In its latest updates, ProofHub extended its users the ability to group similar tasks under one or multiple colored labels

Clifton, NJ, February 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- While handling any type of work, there arises a lot of confusion while prioritising tasks and putting them under various labels. When you have everything organized and clearly defined in front of you, it becomes way easier to manage and deliver work.

In its latest enhancements, ProofHub has taken the important step of making its application quite easy to use for its users. They studied and analyzed users’ feedback and found that this need was much required. So they have introduced the ability to assign labels to each task, based on its type or urgency. This is on the same lines as labels in Gmail, and will help users to better organize their tasks. They can save their time and effort in finding similar tasks on the basis of the labels assigned to their tasks. A task can also be put under two or more defined labels.

In one project, you might be assigned several tasks featuring in a tasklist. And some of them would be urgent, some high priority, some medium and some low priority, you can simply create different labels for them, like: Urgent, High, Medium and Low. Once, you have set the labels, you can associate your tasks with one of these or multiple labels. As labels are global, so these would appear in all your projects. So each time you add tasks in your projects, you can manage them under the same labels.

An another example of this would be, if you are a professor and have created a task list for different tasks to be performed. Say some are related to creating a questionnaire, some to delivering a lecture, some to staff meetings, some to workshops and some are related to tracking progress made by students. You can bring together inter-related tasks in one category by creating separate labels like Workshops, Staff meetings, Questionnaires, Lectures and Students progress. After doing this, you can put interrelated tasks within a specific label, so finding the desired thing becomes much simpler and less time consuming. Simply select the label and all the tasks under that selected abel would appear on the screen.

Another great thing about this is that you can select a specific color for a specific label. There are different color choices given to choose from. This simplifies things as by just having a look at the color of the labels, you can easily figure out which specific label is for which type of tasks. Though this privilege is granted only to the Admin and Super admin of any account. As, they are the ones who create an account and control its settings, hence they solely reserve the right to manage and create labels.

“We always strive to offer as much functionality and ease to our users. Without the ability to prioritize or segregate tasks under any label, some of our users were facing a lot of inconvenience. They wanted something on the lines of a tag, to categorize different tasks under relevant tags. So instead of putting tags, we’ve brought forward the labels. And, the option to pick any color for each label, makes it even better. It becomes easy to recognize a set of tasks by the color chosen for it. Users can also view all tasks under a selected label, in their All-To-do’s section. We’re hoping that this would make them feel even more organized while working on any number of projects,” commented team ProofHub on the launch.
