Brian Alfaro Does It Again: Soaring Production in the Eagle Ford Shale

San Antonio, TX, February 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Brian Alfaro, a San Antonio-based oil and gas industry leader, has done it again. While he plans to expand his number of wells in the Eagle Ford in 2014, Alfaro’s existing wells are producing exceptionally well this year.

Located in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale, the Screaming Eagle 2H well tested at 1,150 barrels of oil equivalent a day. The Screaming Eagle 3H well tested at 1,777 barrels of oil equivalent a day. As production soars for wells 2H and 3H, Alfaro’s Screaming Eagle 4H well is about to begin drilling with high production expectations.

High oil and gas production in these Eagle Ford wells bodes well for the Texas economy and American energy self-reliance. In 2012 the Eagle Ford supported over 116,000 jobs and had a $61 billion impact on the growing South Texas economy.

Increasing production rates also mean that America is one step closer to energy self-reliance. It is estimated that as much as 1 trillion barrels of oil equivalent are recoverable in America’s shale reserves—this is four times the amount of proven oil reserves in Saudi Arabia. As production in the Eagle Ford Shale continues to develop and domestic energy production grows, the United States is one step closer to self-reliance.

Brian Alfaro is proud to be a part of oil shale production in South Texas that has contributed billions to both the local and national economy. As Alfaro plans to drill new wells this year, he also donates a sizeable amount of profits to charities, encouraging healthy social development as South Texas’ economy balloons.
