Datamax-O’Neil Appoints Michele Cucinotta as Business Manager for Performance and Workstation Series Printers

Cucinotta will develop strategies and identify opportunities for the company’s new printer series.

Bourg-lès-Valence, France, February 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Datamax-O’Neil, a leading manufacturer of stationary, vehicle mount, portable label and receipt printers, has named Michele Cucinotta as Business Manager for its Performance and Workstation series printers. In this new position, Cucinotta will be responsible for developing the strategic business plan for the Performance and Workstation series printers and identify opportunities throughout the EMEA region for these innovative products.

Datamax-O’Neil acquired the printer series in mid-2013 from Source Technologies because they offer a combination of powerful features that cannot be found in other printers in the marketplace. They provide superior print quality, auto-load capabilities, user-friendly color touchscreen, unparalleled print registration and an industry standard printer language, PCL.

“I am excited about having the opportunity to market these unique printers throughout EMEA as they have features that our customers have been requesting for many years but have been unavailable – until now,” said Cucinotta. “These printers are very rich in features but are also very affordable, so it is a win-win printer offering.”

“Michele joined Datamax-O’Neil in 2000 and has consistently proven himself in the many positions he has held during those years, including building business relationships, expanding partnerships and growing the business,” said Christian Bischoff, Regional General Manager EMEA at Datamax-O’Neil. “He will have the backing of the Datamax-O’Neil team as he pursues new opportunities to meet our customers’ most challenging printing requirements.”
