Portland, OR, February 20, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Despite only having two years' worth of experience in the business world, hybrid car battery seller Bumblebee Batteries is already being featured on network television. This past holiday season, Bumblebee was spotlighted by the Better Business Bureau for their outstanding efforts in a series of television commercials that aired on CBS and NBC during primetime viewing hours.
Between Nov. 25 and Dec. 8 in 2013, programs like Dr. Phil, Late Show with David Letterman and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire showed the professionally produced commercials up to two-dozen times each week. In them, the company is displayed by name as a voiceover proudly declares Bumblebee Batteries as producers of "brand new hybrid batteries for your Honda hybrid vehicles." Company owner and founder Eli Pruett says the advertisements were crucial in getting Bumblebee's message to a much wider audience.
"When the [Better Business Bureau] approached us asking if we wanted to be featured, we figured it was a no-brainer," he says. "After all, one of our biggest challenges as a small business is getting people to know that we exist! We are of course so proud to be [Better Business Bureau]-accredited, and only a small number of businesses are selected to participate, so it is truly an honor!"
As a result of Bumblebee's increased exposure, Pruett points out that the company has seen a noticeable spike in both service installations and general inquiries. "We even had non-hybrid owners contacting us just to comment on 'liking our style!' Overall, it has been a very rewarding experience and we are looking forward to doing it again next year," he says.
Bumblebee Batteries is located at 11918 SE Division Street #290 in Portland, OR. You can learn more information about the company at www.bumblebeebatteries.com, or by calling (888) 968-5005.
