Thrizzy Announces Debut EP by Daring Fans to Rub the Furry Wall

Chicago, IL, February 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- EDM mastermind Thrizzy announces the release of his upcoming EP, “The Jeffrey,” with a visual dedicated to the cult favorite Get Him To The Greek. Providing an array of heavy drops and electric instrumentation, this project embodies the spirit of the powerful drug in the film. “The Jeffrey” is set to release March 2, 2014.

Says Thrizzy, “I came up with the title because in Get Him To The Greek, the Jeffrey was this collection of drugs that made one amazing product. I thought that was the perfect description for this EP because it’s a hybrid of sounds wrapped up into one project.

“EDM provides such flexibility in style and arrangement. I wanted to test my creative boundaries and see how far I could go while staying true to the art form. 'The Jeffrey' is a musical rollercoaster that I think a lot of EDM fans haven’t experienced before.”

“The Jeffrey” features the singles “Vogue” and “Wayne It”. “Vogue” was featured several times during New York and Chicago’s Fashion Weeks. Each single received more than 13,000 downloads and 80,000 views. The third single, “Mi Badi”, is scheduled for release in late February.

Thrizzy was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he used music as his refuge. He began producing EDM projects at age 14 and is signed to Maek, the world's first free music record label, which is based in Chicago.
