Erik Peterson AIA, Principal PHX Architecture Named PH&G “Master of the Southwest”

Scottsdale, AZ, February 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Phoenix Home & Garden Magazine names Erik Peterson AIA, a “Master of the Southwest” in the March Issue hitting newsstands this week.

Phoenix Home & Garden interacts with talented architects, interior designers, landscape architects, builders, artists, and craftspeople in the course of publishing the monthly magazine. Each year PH&G recognizes select individuals from each of these categories. Readers anticipate the yearly issues to see who is deemed a “Master” in a particular area of expertise. For those in the profession, it marks a career of consistently high quality of work.

Past architectural recipients include many of the Valley’s noted Architects including Dale Cardon, Terry Kilbane, and Vernon D. Swaback. They in turn serve to inspire those who are beginning their career, or are working to the mastery of their profession. Such is the case with Peterson who greatly admired many of the past PH&G ‘Masters” and the quality of work they did. Over the past eighteen years Peterson took note of PH&G’s annual issue and he hoped to one day earn the distinction. This year he achieved that goal.

Peterson states, “I am honored, and humbled, to be recognized by the Editor and staff at Phoenix Home & Garden magazine. It is wonderful to be named a 'Master of the Southwest' doing what I am passionate about, in a place as terrific as the Southwest.” Peterson shares his recognition with the team of architects and designers he works with at PHX Architecture.
